Leonardo Da Vinciās works have influenced artists, scientists, architects, and great thinkers for centuries. His drawing of Vitruvian Man, in pen and ink on paper dated around 1490, is one of his most beloved and identified works. The picture represents a cornerstone of Leonardo's attempts to relate man to nature. The drawing, depicts a male figure in two superimposed positions with his arms and legs apart and simultaneously inscribed in a circle and square and delivers a perfect example of Leonardo's strong interest in proportion. The drawing and text are sometimes called the āProportions of Manā.Ā

Master Goldsmith
S.T Dupont master-craftsmen intricately carve the āVitruvian Manā into the yellow gold vermeil overlay of the pen cap.
Master Lacquerer
Up to 9 layers of natural blue lacquer are then hand applied to the surface of the pen body and cap giving a unique patina effect. The finish gives a pearl-like shimmer and a luxurious finish that is resistant to shocks, scratches and even fire.
The pen features the bold Dupont blazon on the articulated clip, an enhanced Dupont 'D' in the crown of the cap and a perfectly balanced shape for exceptional writing. The pen cap closes with Dupont's iconic 'cling' and features a fluted grip section for a superb writing experience. Each pen is presented in a luxury black lacquered box.
The collection was available in fountain pen and rollerball. The fountain pen features S.T. Dupontās 14kt gold nib in EF, F, M, and B nib widths and fills with the included cartridge or bottled ink using a converter.Ā
