The Urushi lacquered barrel, painstakingly layered, cured, and polished, achieves a stunning finish. The newly introduced blue hue, known in Japanese as 紺青 (kon-jo), translates to dark blue or, more precisely, Prussian blue in English. 

This shade is exceptionally difficult to achieve, requiring the expert blending of pigments with natural Urushi lacquer, resulting in a rich, vibrant blue that radiates elegance. Now available in the classic Black, rich Vermillion, and Prussian Blue.
