The Aurora Primavera Limited Edition Collection was introduced in 1998, and is the third in a series of brightly-colored marbled celluloid based on the popular Optima model. Each writing instrument is hand-turned from Italian celluloid and highly polished.

The matched Primavera Limited Edition quartet includes the fountain pen, capped rollerball, twist-action ballpoint, and twist-action pencil. 

The clips are engraved with two swallows, and the theme is depicted on the large velvet presentation gift packaging and outer cardboard protection sleeve. 

The Primavera Limited Edition fountain pen is mounted with an 18K Medium nib and utilizes a smooth piston filler with a "hidden reservoir". When the fountain pen stops writing, turn the end of the barrel anticlockwise as far as it will go, and the pen will write another page.

The barrels are engraved with the Aurora name. The caps have a wide gold-plated band, engraved "AURORA" centered under the clip, with a Greek Key design accented by two black lacquer stripes.

Only 1919 quartet sets were crafted to commemorate Aurora's 1919 anniversary. When this edition was launched in 1998 it sold out quickly.
